France x Reader
To Meet Again (part 2)

You landed in (city) and immediately you turned your phone on. You called Francis after you got your luggage. It rung twice and on the other line, in a beautiful French accent came a very familiar "hello?" You smiled at the memory of the text he had sent you before the ride on the plane. "Hey Francis." You replied. There was a small chuckle before unfamiliar French words reached your ears. "Banjour mon belle fleur." You paused. "Um… What does that mean exactly?" You asked. Another chuckle from Francis "Hello my beautiful flower." A blush crept across your cheeks. "Did you get my message?" He asked, sounding smug. "Y-yes…" You said, the blush deepening. You were so glad he wasn't here at the moment to see you.

As you held the phone up to your ear, you exited the airport and found yourself walking down the sidewalk, not really sure where to go. "So, what did you think?" Francis asked. It was easier to here him now that you weren't in the bustling airport. "Um… I… I love you too…" You said the last part quietly. "Can you repeat that belle?" Was he trying to make you blush more than you already were? If that was even possible, anyway. "I love you too." You answered more clearly. There was silence on the other line and you checked to see if the call had ended. After knowing that the call was still going, you put the phone to your ear again. "Francis?" You asked, a little nervous. Maybe he had sent that message to the wrong person? "I'm so glad." Francis said. "I thought you wouldn't feel the same." He admitted. His voice was full of relief. "I love you so much, belle. I wish I was there with you." You smiled softly. "I wish you were here too." You replied. "Ah! Belle, I 'ave to go. My roommate promised to show me around campus." You smiled. "Alright." You said. "Bye _____." Francis said. "Bye Francis." You replied

You closed your phone and continued on the sidewalk. Where was your college anyway? You didn't know where to go. You looked at your feet, wondering where they would take you. -Bump- You backed up and looked up at the person you bumped into. "I'm sorry." You said. She was a beautiful girl with long, wavy, brown hair. She looked around your age and she had deep emerald eyes that looked friendly enough. "Oh it's alright." She said with an accent. You might as well ask how to get to where you were trying to go. "Do you know where (college) is?" You asked. "That's my college! Here I'll take you." She said as she led the way along. She walked toward the street and began waving. A yellow taxi stopped and you looked down in embarrassment. You forgot there were taxis here.

You climbed into the taxi with the girl after you placed your luggage in the trunk. "We need to go to (college), please." The green-eyed girl said. She then turned to you. "I'm Elizabeta." She said, giving you a smile. "I'm _____." You replied, giving her the same smile. "Do you know what dorm room you will be staying?" She asked. You nodded. "I'll be staying in dorm 101." You said. Her eyes lit up. "That's where I'm staying!" She exclaimed.

The both of you talked for a while and you learned that Elizabeta was actually from Hungary. For the first time you had a friend besides Francis and this made you so happy. You thought college would be horrible without Francis. You thought making friends with anyone would be impossible. You felt so much better now that you had met Elizabeta. She talked about others that lived near by and she said that she wanted you to meet a few of her friends. The ones she talked about most were the pair that were staying in the room next to yours. Elizabeta told you about Lili, a girl who was attending her first year there because her brother was there as well. This was his second to last year. Elizabeta described the girl as a nice and quiet girl who was rather shy. Her roommate's name was Bella. She was described a nice and friendly and you found yourself eager to meet both of them.

Across the hall were two sisters, Natalia and Yekaterina. Their brother also attended the school. Elizabeta was telling you of so many people that you felt a little overwhelmed. What if you got to be friends with all of these people? That would be so much fun. She knew so many people and since she was now going to be your new friend that meant that maybe you would get to be a part of someone's friend group for once. You told this to Elizabeta and you told her a bit about Francis. She seemed so surprised that you didn't have friends and assumed that the other children had been jealous of you. College was going to be different from your other years in school. There were going to be people you could talk to. People you could get to know. Loneliness seemed so far away. You couldn't wait to tell Francis about your wonderful accomplishment.

It wasn't long before you arrived at the campus and Elizabeta led you through the overly crowded building until you both reached your room. You let out a long sigh and set your luggage down on the floor. "If you don't mind I took the bed on the left." Elizabeta said as she plopped down on the bed. There were two nightstands in-between the beds and small dressers at the foot of the bed. There was a window in between the beds as well, right in the center. To your right was a kitchen, if that could be considered a kitchen, and to your left was a door that probably led to the bathroom. You walked in, taking your luggage back into your hands and placed it next to the bed on the right. Maybe, just maybe, this year wouldn't be as long as you thought it would.

Time skip~ (because I'm lazy :3 )

It had almost been a year since you had left your old home. You and Elizabeta had left the horrible dorms and had rented an apartment with her friend Lili. The three of you lived in a three bedroom apartment that had cheep rent. Over the 11 months you had been here you and Elizabeta had become very good friends as well as you and Lili. You had also become friends with Toris. He had a very mild personality and the both of you got along very well. All in all, your first year in college had been great. Vash, Lili's older brother, would come and visit her daily to make sure that she was ok. He was very overprotective and was planning on getting a one bedroom apartment in the same building.

All had went well over this summer but right now you were excited. Francis was coming to visit you! He even said his friends were going to visit as well, although for their own reasons. Gilbert's little brother was still finishing up high school here and Antonio was coming over to visit the Vargas brothers. You shared a class with the both of them. Feliciano was more kind and friendly that Lovino, but you got along with them.

"Why are you so excited?" Elizabeta asked. "Francis is coming over to visit! I have to go to the airport. Do you mind if he sleeps on the couch? I asked Lili and she said it was fine but she's not so sure about her brother." You said, a little worried about how Vash would take a man that wasn't him sleeping in the same apartment as his precious little sister. You knew Francis was a huge flirt but you also knew he wouldn't do anything to Lili. Sure he would flirt with just about anyone but he wasn't a believer of forced love. "I don't care if he sleeps on the couch as long as he behaves." Elizabeta said going back to the dinner she was making.

"I have to leave so I'll see you later." You said as you headed outside the apartment building. Your parents had sent you money for a car which you were grateful for. Sure it wasn't the newest or coolest car but it ran and that's all you needed. You got in and headed for the airport. You now knew your way all over the town and you were glad for it. However, the only place you needed to get to at the moment was the airport. You hadn't seen Francis since the day you had left, the day he had told you that very important phrase. You couldn't wait to see him. You arrived at the airport and walked in, searching for the familiar blonde. It wasn't long before you found him, turned away from you to talk to his two friends. He had sent you pictures through text messages so you knew which one was which. You even knew Gilbird and smiled when you saw the little chick atop the Prussian's head.

You quickly approached the trio and when close enough, wrapped your arms around Francis. He jumped then relaxed when he realized who it was. "Very funny, mon ami." He said turning his head to look at you. "Hey Francis." He smiled at you. "'ey _____." He said, turning to give you a proper hug. "It's been to long." He said as he pulled away from the hug. "Yea it has." You said. "At least you 'ave Lili and Elizabeta." He replied with a smile. "Yea." You laughed happily. You hadn't felt this happy in so long.

"Pastaaaaa~" Came a very familiar voice. You saw Antonio turn in the direction on the voice as a large smile came across his face. "Feli! Hey, where's Lovino?" He asked, a strong Spanish accent laced into his sentence. "There you are you tomato loving bastard!" Came another Italian voice. "There you are amigo! Como estas?" You giggled, knowing Lovino was pretending to be angry with that look on his face. "I'm fine you stupid Spaniard!" He replied.

"I vonder vhere my unawesome bruder is." Gilbert said, Gibird chirping in reply. "Kesese, good one!" Gilbert said to zhe (oops… I meant the) bird. You had no idea how he could possibly understand what it said. "I'm right here." Came a new voice. You were sure you had seen him around before. He was a blonde with ice blue eyes and had an accent like Gilbert's. "There you are! You took forever! Next time don't keep zhe awesome me waiting." Gilbert said, picking up his luggage. His brother sighed before walking away with his 'awesome' brother. "See you later, Gilbert!" Francis and Antonio yelled after him.

"We should head off as well." Francis said as he picked up his luggage, turning to Antonio to say a farewell. The both of you exited the airport and Francis placed his luggage in your truck before climbing into the passenger seat. "So, I asked if you could stay on the couch and everyone said it was fine but Lili wants to confirm it with Vash. I'm pretty sure I've told you how protective he is of her." You said. "Aww, why do I 'ave to sleep on the couch, mon ami? Why can't I sleep with you?" Francis asked, putting on a devilish smirk. Your face was already turning red. "B-because…" You left of. You had slept together before but that was a long time ago. Back when the both of you were just beginning school and were too innocent to think of such things when sleeping in the same room or even the same bed. That was when the both of you were like siblings and your parents believed that it would be safe to stick you in the same bed. "I'll think about it…" You said as you continued to drive to your apartment building.

Upon arrival the both of you climbed out of the car and grabbed Francis' luggage from the back before heading into the building and climbing to the 2nd floor. You entered your apartment, Francis not far behind and closed the door, letting him set his bags by the couch. Elizabeta had set up the dining table for four and was just about to serve the food when you walked in with your childhood friend. (Well… he wasn't a friend anymore.) Francis greeted her with a smile and a kiss on the hand like he did with every girl he met. She glanced at me but I just smiled at her. "I'm so glad you were 'ere to take care of _____. I was so worried for 'er."

The apartment door opened as Lili walked in, her brother right behind her. "Big brother came to meet your friend." She said in her normally quiet voice. You smiled at her. "This is Lili and her brother, Vash." You told Francis. "Lili, Vash, I'd like you to meet Francis." You said to the both of them. Vash's eyes scanned the Frenchman up and down as if determining whether he was safe or not. "It's very nice to meet the both of you." He said, giving a small bow. Vash's calculating eyes met Francis' and for a moment he just stared at the blonde. "I don't trust him." He said, his eyes narrowing. "But big brother, he promises he wont do anything. Right?" She said turning to look at Francis. "Of course. I won't lay a finger on 'er." He said, holding up his hands as if he were about to be arrested. There was a small pause before Vash spoke. "Fine." He said. Francis relaxed, letting his hands fall to his sides. Then Vash revealed the pistol he kept with him at all times, pointing it at Francis. "But one mistake, and you'll be dead." He said. Francis nodded. "Understood." With that the blonde turned to his sister, giving her tips on how to be safe. She nodded her head, giving her brother a small smile before he left.

"Now, who wants dinner?" Elizabeta said, placing the no longer empty plates down on the table. "I do!" Everyone replied in unison, giving into the delicious smell of Elizabeta's cooking. The food, as always, was great.
